History

At the centre of a great area that degrades from the Daunia Preapennines towards the plains of the Tavoliere, olive groves with centuries old olive trees extend as far as the eyes can see, encircling Torremaggiore, a pleasant town whose origins come from the Benedictine Abbey “MONASTERIUM TERRAE MAIORIS”. In the vicinity we find the remains of CASTEL FIORENTINO the famous place where, on December 13, 1250 the Emperor FREDERICK II of Swabia died and where there is an imposing Cathedral and his residential palace. In this territory with its agricultural vocation, in 1995 the GRACO farm was founded by Ms Maria Costanza Bosco and her family with a precise objective: to produce and exploit the typical products of their own town.

Two strategies were followed: respecting traditions and high product quality. Thanks to these principles GRACO has won several prizes over the years in various international events.

The company has a plant divided into three productive areas: the first is used for processing table olives with annexed continuous cycle oil mill and mill stones; the second is used as a laboratory for processing handcrafted products; the third is used as a workshop for storing and packaging the oil.

Graco has been a member of the CORPORAZIONE DEI MASTRI OLEARI (Oil Masters Corporation) since 1997. This corporation, with its experts in the sector, works all over the world exploiting and promoting high quality extra virgin olive oil.
